Happy early Christmas!
I am so excited to let you know that my new Christmas single is now out and available at iTunes:)
Some of you have asked me…why the 12 Days of Christmas and why did you re-write most of the lyrics?
This is a fun story to share….
My dad’s side of the family is Italian/Armenian. That means lots of family, food and fun over the Holidays.
Every Christmas since I can remember our family has had this fun tradition. We have our “big” Italian Christmas party on Christmas Eve (well…now the Sat before Christmas)
Picture gathering as many as 85 people in one home or now a Clubhouse type facility. Of course tons and tons of Italian food…. pasta, meatballs, lasagna, pizza, squid, manicotti, antipasto & the list goes on and on. Oh and cannoli’s… oh the cannoli’s.:)
It is a wonderful time of connecting with family and hearing what has been going on in everyone’s lives. As you can imagine there have been years of celebrating more babies being born into the fam, marriages & also hard years when we have lost loved ones to cancer or other illness. One thing that always brings much joy is our tradition of singing The 12 Days Of Christmas.
For the last 30 + years the family will break off into the smaller family groups and each get a day of the song to sing. Sometimes this was my job along with my sister to write out who had what day and hand them out:) My Grammy and her 4 sisters always got “5 golden rings” it is quite funny to watch and listen to. The best part is any newbie to the family party get’s to do a solo on “a partridge in a pear tree” Yes. That happens 12 times…look out future spouse…that just might be you!
While in a co-writing session with the talented Aaron Rice who has written songs like “Good Morning” by Mandisa and “Made To Love” by Toby Mac we decided to take at stab at this favorite of mine. I always wondered what the lyrics meant and thought it would be fun to change them to something I am quite passionate about:)
I hope you enjoy this new little spin on the 12 Days Of Christmas!
Please check it out on iTunes and share it with your friends and social media sites:) Don’t forget to “take a day of rest!” You will only understand that if you listen through to Day 7J
Wishing you all the best Christmas!
I am so excited to share with you that my new Christmas single just became available on iTunes. Just in time for Thanksgiving:)
I put my own little spin on a Christmas Classic! This song is very special to me as it is a family favorite and we have a little tradition with this one each year…more on that later!

It’s hard to believe that The Sass, Class & Compassion tour is coming to an end. We have had such a great 4 weeks on the road traveling the entire country putting on Girls Night Out live events and seeing woman’s lives touched. I think my favorite part as been leading ladies in worship, sharing some of my testimony & journey of faith and then the ministry time at the end. The special moments have been after the events getting to know what the night meant to some of the ladies who came out as they shared things going on in their lives with me. WOW. God is surely at work on this tour. Please head over to my Instagram page or Facebook page to look at the pics:) www.facebook.com/jaimejamgochiain www.instagram.com/jaimejamgochian
Well this FRI night we will be closing the tour out at LAKEWOOD CHURCH. I have always wanted to go to this church and hear one of my favorite worship leaders Israel Houghton sing & to see what God is doing in the largest church in the USA. Who knew I would get to be sharing my music & heart there. Dreams really do come true!:)
HOUSTON, TX LADIES! Hope to see you THIS FRI NIGHT APRIL 4th at 7pm for a FREE girls night out on the Sass, Class & Compassion tour.
As you guys know, we are currently in the midst of “The Sass, Class & Compassion Tour”…and as a matter of fact, are currently driving through some very beautiful mountains somewhere in West Virginia!
Our first few live events have been wonderful and we cannot wait to see all God has in store for the rest of the tour. Some of you might be wondering why we chose to call this “The Sass, Class & Compassion Tour”…well, Mandy the creator of The Single Woman and as you know, can be a little bit sassy…and Jaime has a campaign for women called “Modest is Hottest” and loves to see women know who they are in Christ and stay classy.
The evening consists of worship, speaking, music, lots of fun, and something we are so excited to be able to share with you: our Compassion International partnership.
When planning this tour we really felt like we needed to have something in our program that allows woman to give back. It is so easy to live a self-centered life; whether that means focusing on climbing the corporate ladder, buying that bigger house, and so on…and we didn’t want this tour and this mission to be all about us. Both of us have witnessed through our own ministries and lives the miracles God can work when we are constantly seeking to be a blessing to others.
We’ve heard from polling and talking to our own fans, readers, and friends that one of the biggest issues singles struggle with is loneliness. And since both of us are still single, we also know firsthand what this feels like. Being single can often feel like you’re playing a game of musical chairs and the music stopped and left everyone with a chair except you. Especially as you get into your late 20’s and beyond. It’s easy to have moments where you feel as though you have all this love and no one to give it to.
So that’s what struck us as we were planning this journey across the country to speak to single ladies: What if we could connect two lonely hearts from opposite sides of the world to create a really beautiful, special, and life-changing partnership?
Compassion International is allowing us to do just that.
For $38 dollars a month (less than we spend on Starbucks each month!) you can sponsor a child, boy or girl (whichever you prefer) in any country you choose and literally make an impact on this child’s life forever. They will receive food, clothing, shelter, a great education and skills for a better life.
The part we really love is that you can also pray for your child, write letters, send care packages and begin a beautiful relationship that will bring both of you joy for many years to come!
For more information on sponsoring a child or to sign up to sponsor a child, please visit www.Compassion.com/SassClassCompassion.
Our goal with “The Sass, Class & Compassion Tour” is to step outside our own comfort zones as we encourage women across the country to do the same…trying new things, taking chances, and getting uncomfortable for the glory of God.
We hope you will take that leap of faith with us and help us change the life of a child TODAY!
